This study encompasses various aspects of plants, including both local Kalimantan flora and other tropical species. Students and researchers can explore plant diversity, morphology, physiology, tissue culture, and the potential of local plants as sources of biomolecules or environmentally friendly raw materials. Examples of plant species studied include porang (Amorphophallus), pitcher plant (Nepenthes albomarginata T. Lobb ex Lindl), and Siamese orange (Citrus nobilis var. microcarpa).
